Americans urgently need jobs and Millennium Bulk Terminals is ready to provide them. Please approve a reasonable project scope for the environmental study and help get Americans back to work.

Coal should not be considered toxic especially in regards to the elements / minerals contained in coal. Please note the soil samples reported by Oregon DEQ during the Boardman coal terminal hearings, all contain naturally occurring amounts of mercury, arsenic, selenium, etc. higher than what is found in western U.S. coal. There the study showed that exiting natural dirt was more toxic than western coal.

We hear a lot of opinions about coal, but the reality of the Millennium Project is that it will have state-of-the-art equipment and best of all will bring life back to a site that has been left stagnant for some time. Many of us would love to have the opportunity to spend our entire career in one place. Millennium is offering that to us. Why not take advantage? If people insist "we can do better" then why haven't we?

Sincerely,Richard Vuljanic Richard Vuljanic Richievpirates@yahoo.com
