Please begin the environmental study for Millennium Bulk Terminals coal export facility. There are many benefits of the project that the community is waiting for.
Coal should not be considered toxic especially in regards to the elements / minerals contained in coal. Please note the soil samples reported by Oregon DEQ during the Boardman coal terminal hearings, all contain naturally occurring amounts of mercury, arsenic, selenium, etc. higher than what is found in western U.S. coal. There the study showed that exiting natural dirt was more toxic than western coal.
Thank you for reviewing my comments. This project is deserving of an impartial scope and should not experience further delays.
Sincerely, Kevin Van email@example.com
