I would like to comment on the Millennium Bulk Terminals. Contrary to the hysteria exhibited by some individuals about the dangers of transporting coal, it is quite safe. There is no coal dust flying off the coal as it travels by train. No-one anywhere in the country is being harmed by the transport of coal, yet these critics believe Washingtonians will be? The critics of these terminals and the transport of coal are simply misguided. There is no reason why the citizens of the state of Washington should not benefit economically from the transport and shipment of coal to China. In fact, I have heard that the coal we would send China would burn cleaner than what they have - so this would be a win for them, a win for us, a win for the Washington state economy, AND a win for the environment. Please do not be swayed by those who seem to think now-a-days that all businesses and business activities are evil or dangerous. Please put the Washington economy and the lives of Washingtonians FIRST by allowing these terminals. Sincerely, Janice Moerschel Spokane, Washington
