Please consider my comments on the scope of the proposed Cowlitz County coal export terminal. This is an excellent project and one that will bring broad-ranging economic benefits to Washington and to the national economic outlook for years to come.

Coal should not be considered toxic especially in regards to the elements / minerals contained in coal. Please note the soil samples reported by Oregon DEQ during the Boardman coal terminal hearings, all contain naturally occurring amounts of mercury, arsenic, selenium, etc. higher than what is found in western U.S. coal. There the study showed that exiting natural dirt was more toxic than western coal.

I can't think of one good reason why this port shouldn't move forward. I hope my comments will be considered and added to those of others asking for approval of this great project.

Sincerely, Marcus Williams supermanwilliams96@me.com
