The trade industry is one of the bright spots in an otherwise bleak economy. Please approve the coal export terminal at Cowlitz County and speed up the environmental study to help get our economy moving again.
When the trains are loaded in Montana, Millennium puts a liquid coverâ??like a glueâ??on top of the cars. This eliminates a lot of the coal dust that would normally come off of train cars. Environmental reports have already been done for many of the shipping processes. These reports should be relied upon and incorporated into the EIS for Millennium's proposal. Don't feel like you need to recreate the wheel and further delay much-needed private investment! Remember what matters and keep the focus local!
It is clear to me, Millennium Bulk Terminals has a project that will have long-term positive impacts on local and regional economies in Washington. Millennium has maintained and presented ongoing efforts to uphold the current environmental regulations set for its project in Longview. I have good faith and trust this will continue and the company should be allowed to move forward without further delay. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to comment.
Sincerely, Mr John Stolte email@example.com
