The environmental study for the Cowlitz County coal port should be as comprehensive as possible. It should consider the many factors that a project of this nature will impact. Transportation, air quality, water quality, negative economic impacts, etc. A project of this scope is worthy of the full exploration of all interested parties. Cowlitz County and the Longview area need to make every effort to create as many sustainable, long-term, family-wage jobs as possible and to create a business climate that will encourage many new businesses and families to move to this great community. The key question for the regulators is to ensure that all impacts are thoroughly revealed and understood before permitting decisions are made.

Sincerely, Teresa Purcell purcellpublicaffairs@msn.com
