Dear U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Washington Department of Ecology, and Cowlitz County Commission,

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Washington Department of Ecology, and Cowlitz County Commission

Re: Docket number 2013-19738: Comment on Longview Coal Port

This port should not be approved. Its operation would force communities in Montana and the other northwest states to bear the traffic of thousands of polluting coal trains each month. And Montana's Tongue River Valley would become a sacrifice area, all in the service of private corporations exporting coal across the Pacific.

These are not the tradeoffs that your agencies - keepers of the public trust - should be willing to endorse.

No to the Longview coal port.
