Subject: Docket number 2013-19738: Comment on scope of EIS for Millennium Bulk terminals Longview LLC Coal Export Terminal. . I support the new coal terminal. I am Kenneth Stamps My address is 1611 camino dr Forest Grove, Oregon, 97116 My home phone is 503-359-4875

I am in the philippines this year. I will return in February to Oregon. my phone number in the Philippines is 63-09173093716... I have seen the trains which transport many tons of wheat through the columbia gorge each day. the additional traffic of coal trains will greatly disrupt any communities there. the peoples of the lower columbia river will benefit with the jobs and taxes this project will bring. I have seen the coal miners in Wyoming. the mines provide a realistic way for their needed annual income to support their families. I am well aware of the need to export goods to balance our trade with other countries. this will help the United States economy. I have seen the coal fired power plant at Sual in Northern Luzon. It does not pollute the surrounding area in any significanct way. the people of this region greatly need this power to have any decent quality of life. those who oppose this project should propose a better way for the companies here to produce electricity. It can be done.. will they help pay for it?

thank you Kenneth stamps
