Dear U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, WA Department of Ecology, and Cowlitz County Commission,

Please study the impact that this project would have on eastern Montana. Much of the coal that would be exported via this terminal would originate from this part of our state, and Montana citizens would be left with serious impacts. The coal strip mining that would result from this project would destroy aquifers and agricultural land, degrade air and water quality, and threaten the livelihood of farmers and ranchers who rely on intact ecosystems.

Please also fully study how this project would contribute to global climate change, and rely on credible science to evaluate whether we can afford to contribute more C02 into our atmosphere and sustain life as we know it. I think you will find that this terminal should NOT be permitted.

Thank you, Page Atcheson 817 Holter St Helena, MT 59601
