U.S. Corps of Engineers

Dear of Engineers,

Coal dust carries significant risks. It can cause many harmful effects such as destroying vegetation and habitats, reduces the fertility of the soil, pollutes the air with ash, and acid mine drainage can seep into water supplies, poisoning water for both people and animals. The construction of a coal export terminal in Longview, Washington (which would transport coal on trains and ships through the Pacific Northwest) can pollute the Columbia River. I request that you stop all proposed coal export terminals in the Pacific Northwest. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Christopher Armerding 2715 10th St NW Apt 6-102 Roanoke, VA 24012-4013
