Please, consider the effect of continued government collaboration in the debilitation of the ocean environment through processing of CO2 from coal burning. Insufficient attention has been paid to the justice of continuing collaboration with the few billionaires who fund the political campaigns of our representatives and lobby our Federal regulators to perpetuate their destructive manipulation of our environment to finance their summer houses. Locally, please, measure the effect this proposal would have on ocean acidification directly and on our shellfish and fishing industries indirectly. Nationally, please judge how the ensnarement of our government in facilitating this bizarrely obsolete proposal would impact the perceived quality of our government as seen by young people who understand and accept the clean energy paradigm. Please, recognize that your actions will be judged over the next 1,000 years, long after the shellfish, the fish, the whales, and the industries that depend on them are gone. See the attached report from the November 14, 2013 ScienceDaily about a new report led by the International Geosphere-Biosphere Program.
