Having worked in the coal mines in Wyoming and Montana, it pains me that people can be so ignorant. My employer had us tested by Jewish Hospital of Denver for any adverse effects from working in the coal mines, I have none. You are more likely to be exposed to lead, mercury, and arsenic working in your flower garden than from a train load of coal. The one suggestion I have is to trim the loads better. When as much as 24 inches of coal is showing above the top rails of the cars, IT IS A VISUAL THING, the ANTI'S see it and it is bad, horrible, and life threatening. We know that is not so but it is fodder for their propaganda. I support the project and we need to educate the ignorant. Sincerely, Tom Howell Tom Howell chopogordo@msn.com
