The Honorable Millennium Bulk Terminal EIS
Dear null EIS:
It is a reasonable request to ask for a full study of the entire area coal travel as it impacts us on its way to the Ports.
Coal does not morph onto a port. It must travel there and dropping coal all the way.
The railroad has taken measurements of the amount of coal that blows and drops from cars per mile. This figure will help the estimate of millions of tons passing through scenic areas, city's, streams and causing the air we breathe to be filled with particulate.
Please study the toxins in coal that will be present in the fish we eat.
Please study the costs of a superfund clean up as coal causes trains to derail at an alarming rate.
Study what coal build up from passing trains will do to the endangered chum salmon spawning grounds the trains pass over several times a day.
Study how a coal port will affect new business start ups as a decline in business is a documented result of coal passing an area.
Study the effect on home sales and new builds.
Please study the health effects to humans.
This should not scare Milleniums proponents They say they have nothing to hide.
They say coal will not damage and it does not blow. This holds true unless they fear that their lies will be revealed with a study.
Ask why they are so afraid. Please do the right thing.
