I write today in support of Millennium Bulk Terminals coal export terminal. This is a project that is easy to support because it will benefit families both within and outside of its southwest Washington location. The project presents a path to employment for manyââ‚”let's makes it happen. Coal should not be considered toxic especially in regards to the elements / minerals contained in coal. Please note the soil samples reported by Oregon DEQ during the Boardman coal terminal hearings, all contain naturally occurring amounts of mercury, arsenic, selenium, etc. higher than what is found in western U.S. coal. There the study showed that exiting natural dirt was more toxic than western coal. Thank you for letting me submit my opinions and show my support for the project. Sincerely, Roger Nicholson roger.nicholson2011@gmail.com
