Submission Text Sent:Thursday, October 31, 2013 12:37 PM Subject:Millennium Bulk Terminals' Longview Port
Thank you for this opportunity to voice my support of Millennium Bulk Terminals - Longview project. This port will benefit the economy of the region, and that of the nation. The scoping decision should include a timetable for issuance of a Draft EIS and a final EIS. Ecology's SEPA Rules require a final EIS to be issued "as close as possible" to the time that Millennium submitted its proposal. Scoping started more than 18 months after the application was submitted. The lead agencies must work to issue a Draft EIS within one year of the start of scoping, and a final EIS within 18 months from the start of scoping. The agencies are doing a great job of evaluating Millennium Bulk Terminals port proposal. I am convinced that this project's permit should move forward without further delay. Sincerely, Mitchell Kalos
