Thank you for this opportunity to voice my support of Millennium Bulk Terminals - Longview project. This port will benefit the economy of the region, and that of the nation. Ecology should defer to the federal government for environmental review and permit decisions for issues that pertain to or would affect interstate commerce, such as rail capacity. Ultimately, global warming and the impact of fossil fuels on the environment are national government and international government to government issues and should not be considered in a local development EIS. This is an important project that will provide a vital role in boosting the economy and one that should be allowed to proceed in as quick of a manner as possible.
