Ban coal export trains.
Exporting coal by rail harms our quality of life by spreading coal dust, noise and diesel fumes.
It also pollutes the air we breathe after it is burned in China and blows across the Pacific Ocean. This is equivalent to sending scrap metal to Japan prior to WWII; it all came back to us with disastrous results.
The negative impact of burning coal on global warming has both known and unknown consequences.
