Please move forward with the governments environmental study. I say let's get moving with the Longview port ASAP. Cowlitz County continues to have an unemployment rate higher than the majority of the State of Washington. The EIS should report the positive impacts of both direct and indirect employment. The EIS should not be limited to only negative impacts, when such positive impacts to the economy will be significant to Cowlitz County. The cost of delaying this project through a drawn out permitting process needs to be recognized as a concern. Millennium Bulk Terminals has done a great deal to assure that environmental protections are put in place for its proposed import/export terminal. I see Millennium as being an asset to the surrounding communities and the economic outlook of our nation as a whole. Please see that this project is allowed to proceed. Sincerely, Doug Chambers
