No matter what the political or religious affiliation, no one can deny the climate change crisis that our globe is facing, largely due to fossil fuel reliance. Any banker would advise to invest in long term profit and long term survival. Indeed, fiscal conservatives must agree that to continue to invest in extraction economies that will only speed up climate crisis and ensure the impossibility of long term survival is just bad math. Instead, take the millions and millions of dollars set aside for this project and invest in something that is an ACTUAL investment, with returns. Solar. Wind. Sustainable and non-toxic fuel sources. This is no longer a position belonging to a particular political party, but the ONLY RATIONAL decision that anyone who cares about the future of not just other generations, but our own. THANK YOU in advance for making the intelligent, informed and thoughtful decision to halt this invasive, toxic and lethal practice. Thank you for your concern for water quality, availability and the inheritance of pacific northwest abundance that is facing eradication.
