Exporting coal to Asia would allow Asian countries to continue to burn coal without restrictions, thus contributing to the green house gas emissions into the atmosphere. I firmly believe in global warming and we need to do all we can to prevent this. In light of recent news reports of opinionated doctors (the doctor actually said, "It is my opinion these men do not have black lung disease.") who do not diagnose black lung disease to save coal companies millions, probably billions, of dollars, it is not an industry that takes care of people who work long hours underground breathing coal dust. Autopsies show after people died that they indeed had black lung disease. I say "no" to transporting coal or oil through our states of Oregon and Washington.
