After I saw what was planned I wanted to find out some things about Coal. So I went into the Department of Energy's web site and others to educate myself about it. The first thing I found out that coal is our most abundant fossile fuel ,The United States has more coal than the world has oil. There is enough coal under ground to provide us with energy for the next 300 years. We have already been using coal for over 300 years. In some coals found in Ohio and some Eastern states sulfer makes up from 3 to 10% of the weight of coal Coals found in Montana and some other western states the sulfer content will only be less than 1% of the weight of the coal. Coal like all fossil fules is formed out of carbon, all living things even people are made up of carbon. ( remember coal started out as plants) I came out of this with the conclusions that : To make safer handeling procedures we need to handle it. We have done a lot over the 300 years we have been using it lets not stop progress. The only way we will have the money to do further research is to use it. I hope this company does the right thing for this area, our future and our grandkids and builds the shipping port creating jobs and bettering the comunity. Thank you for the opportunity to submit a comment regarding the scoping for Millennium Bulk Terminals coal export facility. I strongly support the environmental study and the thousands of jobs this project will create. Sincerely, Mike Hayden Mike Hayden
