To: US Army Corps of Engineers, WA Dept of Ecology and Cowlitz County: My name is Beverly Skeffington and I have been a resident of Washington since 1978. I am greatly concerned with the proposed coal terminal in Longview. I am writing to urge you to go beyond whatever might be required (EIS) and consider more carefully what the impact will be on the health of local residents as well as all the residents along the pathway for the coal trains. I am also concerned about how this project will poison the environment. Fallout from the trains is dusting the countryside and impacting plant and animal life. I have great concerns about having the ships in the local waters and coast and the potential for spills and other accidents which would undoubtedly impact marine life. If these dangers cannot be mitigated, I am asking that the permit be denied. Beverly Skeffington 25910 Stuckey Avenue SW Vashon, WA 98070 . -- Beverly Skeffington Dreamland Travel 206/354-8921
