Dear U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, WA Department of Ecology, and Cowlitz County Commission,
Our family has voluntarily paid extra on our power bill to buy wind power generators for our state and phase out the coal burning electric plants. The last thing we need is for American coal to be shipped overseas and be burned there. This is a very, very bad idea. The big money corporations behind this effort care nothing about our quality of life and only for short term profit.
We strongly oppose the construction of a coal export terminal at Longview, Washington.
I urge you to consider the impact of allowing this plan to proceed. Please consider the Environmental Impact Statement and the long term effects.
Thank you
