MBTL Coal Export Terminal EIS

Dear U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and WA Dept of Ecology, EIS,

I strongly oppose the construction of a coal export terminal at Longview, WA which would transport coal on trains and ships throughout the Northwest.

I live in Bellingham and it looks like the coal terminal at Cherry Point up here isn't going to go through, which is a huge victory, but it will be essentially meaningless if a terminal is built in Longview. We're just moving the problem from one town to another and it's unacceptable in Longview for the same reasons it's unacceptable in Bellingham. Coal terminals are devastating to the environment, public health, quality of life, and progression towards clean energy. Don't build this shit.

Sincerely,

Ellen Reiche
