We are residents ofBozeman ,Mt.and are very concerned about the proposed coal terminals. If this plan is allowed to proceed we here in Bozeman and across Montana will have our quality of life seriously affected. Montana Rail Link is proposing 30 trains a day going through our town and all the others on the route. These trains are more than1and1/4 miles in length and passing through out town completely cut off a large part of town from the hospital, schools, emergency services and other necessary services. We have three crossings that are close together when train currently passes no one can access the other part of town.

The other considerations are the environmental ones both local and global. Locally we will affected by the toxic dust from coal, not a small environmental problem. Noise from the trains blowing the mandatory whistles for the three close crossings, fumes from the string of cars waiting for each train to pass. Our health, our peace and quiet, and out time will be a sacrificed all to ship a dirty fuel to China. Burning of that coal will affect our global climate and global warming.

We sincerely hope that the result of the public comments and the studies conclude that too much in this country will be lost to provide fuel to China. They need to work towards renewable resources not use us to provide them will fuel . Barbara and Stanley Friedman Sent from my iPad
