I write today in support of Millennium Bulk Terminals coal export terminal. This is a project that is easy to support because it will benefit families both within and outside of its southwest Washington location. The project presents a path to employment for manyââ‚â€let's makes it happen.
The lead agencies should conduct a local study on our environment. It's unrealistic and unprecedented to conduct a cradle-to-grave EIS that studies the harvesting, development or manufacturing of a product or commodity to and including the end use of the product or commodity. Using the wheat export terminals as an example, the Department of Ecology did not require the study of nationwide rail impacts, nor the end usage of the wheat at its destination.
Thank you for accepting comments for this important project. Please make the necessary steps to move forward on its approval as soon as possible.
Sincerely,Darlene Jackson lifelong resident of community Darlene Jackson Caddyqueenie@msn.com
