I would like to add my support to the proposed port at Longview and ask that the environmental study proceed rapidly.

The EIS should acknowledge that Millennium is situated in a "heavy industrial" zone. If not developed as a coal export facility its development will have similar impacts in terms of rail impacts and possibly more negative impacts in terms of road congestion and/or emissions if developed into a manufacturing facility.

The growing worldwide trade market needs an accessible, dependable, and conscientious facility to conduct business. I appreciate the planning Millennium Bulk Terminals has exhibited in its proposal for the project in Longview and wish to thank the agencies for its consideration in moving this project forward.

Furthermore I am very excited about the work Millennuim has done already to clean up the old sight with using local labor and paying family wages. I am hopeful that this will be a fair process and the project will move forward creating thousands of direct and indirect jobs in cowlitz county.

I have been following this for a couple years and so far they have made good on all thier promises.

Sincerely, Michael Bridges mikeandmolly3@msn.com
