Dear U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, WA Department of Ecology, and Cowlitz County Commission,

I am deeply concerned about the potential construction of a coal export terminal at Longview, WA, and would like to register my opposition.

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, own property there, and have dedicated my career to combating climate change. So this issue is of personal concern to me in several regards.

This proposed coal export terminal, which would transport coal throughout the Pacific Northwest, would negatively affect my community and my family by polluting the air, rivers and ocean, hurting human health, increasing tanker traffic and the potential for shipping accidents and spills, and exacerbating climate change.

I urge you to consider these impacts in the scope of the Environmental Impact Statement.

Thank you for your consideration.
