The trade industry is one of the bright spots in an otherwise bleak economy. Please approve the coal export terminal at Cowlitz County and speed up the environmental study to help get our economy moving again.
Cowlitz County has a chronically high unemployment rate. There are environmental impacts of building trades and longshore workers having to travel as far as the Port of Seattle for work on a daily basis, instead of going to a job at Millennium. The impacts and air emissions related to no longer commuting to Seattle and Portland for work should be noted as an environmental benefit of the project.
This scope is being finely crafted. The progress this port represents should not be hampered. It's time to get folks back to work!
Sincerely, Michael Vaughn email@example.com
