Americans urgently need jobs and Millennium Bulk Terminals is ready to provide them. Please approve a reasonable project scope for the environmental study and help get Americans back to work.

The EIS should acknowledge that Millennium is situated in a "heavy industrial" zone. If not developed as a coal export facility its development will have similar impacts in terms of rail impacts and possibly more negative impacts in terms of road congestion and/or emissions if developed into a manufacturing facility.

The scoping to evaluate Millennium Bulk Terminals proposed Longview project should be kept within reason. This plan will be a positive economic stimulus not only for local businesses, but will contribute significantly to the well-being and job stability through out the coal source states and those cities and towns along the rail routes leading to this terminal. Please move forward with the process in a timely manner. It's the fair thing to do and it will help America get back to work.

Sincerely, Thomas Crump tcrump@wwcengineering.com
